Hello friends & neighbors,

We wish each of you a healthy, well-fed 2026. This past year has been yet another adventure in trying to balance growing food, soil, children, and community; we are grateful for your consistent love and help through it all!

We still have our happy hens, who lay eggs prolifically year round. De-icing the driveway at 432 Watson Hollow has been challenging, but if the cooler is not out please just give me a call (845-750-8395) and I will deliver eggs. We have plenty!

Despite losing a huge first crop of hay to a broken baler in a June rainstorm, we are overwintering a record number of 16 sheep, whom we hope will provide us with quite a few lambs to pasture next summer. (Wish us luck!) If you are interested in reserving a half or whole lamb for next winter, please let us know soon; they tend to get spoken for quickly.

(We did get a second cut of hay in, thankfully.)

Meanwhile, we are once again selling some of Anneke’s pottery. There was too much going on here to have them out before the holidays, but, as the kids say, “It won’t go bad!” Just send an email to annekesy@emilsagroforest.com with your choices, and we are happy to deliver anytime. Pictures and prices are below.
